It was claimed that Chairman Kim Jong Un ordered the entire city to be quarantined and that people in the city with a population of 200,000 would not be allowed to leave until all the bullets were found. As authorities were said to be going from house to house looking for the bullets, a city dweller who did not name him said: “The city will remain in quarantine until 653 bullets are found.”
Following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, North Korea deployed army units to the Chinese border and closed the entrance to the country. It was reported that the stray bullets caused concern in the country’s military, which has drawn attention with missile tests one after another recently, and that the soldiers tried to find the bullets without reporting the situation at first, but failed.
‘PEOPLE FIND BULLETS MUST REALIZE’
According to the sources, the police surrounded the city and issued an appeal to the people: “Anyone who finds bullets should immediately inform the authorities.” It was also noted that those who did not report to authorities even though they found bullets could face heavy penalties. It was also revealed that the bullets were “secret” and that no progress had yet been made in the investigation.
Factories, farms and organizations in the city were also called to support the investigation.
