Arrest warrant for Imran Khan revoked

According to Dawn newspaper news, Pakistan Justice Movement Party (PTI) leader Khan traveled from Lahore to the capital Islamabad to attend the hearing of his case.

However, Han’s court appearance was delayed due to a fight between PTI supporters and the police outside the court.

After the events, court judge Zafer Iqbal allowed Han to sign the document showing his participation in the hearing from his car and not come to the courtroom.

Iqbal canceled the arrest warrant for Khan on the grounds that he failed to appear at the hearings and postponed the hearing until March 30.

Home Minister Rana Sanaullah stated that during the police raid on Imran Khan’s house, shots were fired from the house and Molotov cocktails, explosives and materials used to make bombs were seized from the house.

Punjab Police Chief Osman Anvar, on the other hand, stated that cartridges and AK-47 Kalashnikov infantry rifles were seized as a result of the searches, adding that 61 people have been detained so far and this could increase. .

HAN LEFT LAHOR THIS MORNING

Khan had left for Islamabad this morning from his residence in Lahore to attend the trial.

On March 13, two arrest warrants were issued for Han, who failed to attend hearings in the cases in which he was tried.

During the operation launched by the police on March 14 to arrest Khan, clashes broke out between PTI supporters and members of the police. Police and paramilitary units were unable to arrest Imran Khan. More than 60 police officers were injured and 15 protesters were detained in the incidents.

The Islamabad High Court suspended the arrest warrant for Khan, who declared yesterday that he would attend the hearing.

There are 94 cases against former Prime Minister Khan.
