Evacuations continue in Donetsk
Clashes intensified in Bahmut, located in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.
The Ukrainian administration ordered the evacuation of civilians. 40 people, including children, were evacuated from the town of Lastochkyne, where civilian settlements were also damaged by the Russian airstrike.

Civilians are the most affected by the war that has been going on for more than a year.
UNICEF Ukraine representatives welcomed Ukrainian civilians arriving by train from the east.
STREET CONFLICT IN BAHMUT
It was claimed that there were street clashes in the town of Bahmut. Bahmut Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Marchenko stated that Russia has not yet captured the city, saying: “Their only goal is to kill people and commit genocide against the Ukrainian people. The tactic used by the Russians is the scorched earth tactic. “They want to destroy Bahmut, they want to destroy the city, and frankly I can’t understand why they did it,” he said.

Authorities announced that 40 people were evacuated from the area.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian General Staff announced that attempts by Russian forces to blockade Bahmut continue.
