Bad weather claims 10 lives in the US.
Much damage was reported from the strong winds and hurricanes that hit the northeast and west coast of the country, and more than 1 million people were left without power.
Three people died in Alabama when the wind toppled trees. In Mississippi, a person was killed when a tree fell on his vehicle.
In Arkansas, one person was trapped in a flood after heavy rain, and in Tennessee, 2 people died as a result of trees blown down by high winds. Three people were killed in three Kentucky counties where the storm was intensely effective.

While the US National Weather Service (NWS) on Friday described strong winds of up to 128 kilometers per hour as “historic”, according to the site “PowerOutage.us”, which tracks power outages, power across the country, over 1 million people in Kentucky, Tennessee and Michigan Many people were without power due to bad weather conditions.
