22 tons of humanitarian aid to the victims of the Kharkiv earthquake

22 tons of humanitarian aid collected for the sister city of Gaziantep by Kharkiv Municipality of Ukraine is sent to Turkey.

After the ceremony attended by Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov at a Kharkiv warehouse, the collected donations were loaded onto a truck.

Terekhov said that Gaziantep and Kharkiv are two sister cities.

Emphasizing that Gaziantep supported Kharkiv in difficult times, Terekhov said: “We received very strong help from this city. Now is the time to help the city that is going through difficult times. The people of Ukraine and Kharkiv gathered humanitarian aid that will go to Gaziantep today. “This is a good sign of our friendly relations,” he said.

Stating that Turkey will carry out repair and restoration work on Kharkiv after the end of the war, Terekhov expressed his gratitude to Turkey for this.

Terekhov stated that the 22 tons of humanitarian aid collected included products such as food products, electric stoves, clothing and hygiene materials, “This is our first aid. We are in contact with the mayor of Gaziantep and if necessary we will pick up and send help again,” he said. (AA)
