UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has so far delivered 3,014 tons of relief materials to Turkey and Syria with 106 planes due to the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş.

According to the news in the official agency of the UAE WAM, the aid was sent in the framework of the operation “Yiğit Süvari 2”, which was launched to support those who suffered from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, with the instruction of the president of the UAE. The Abu Dhabi administration, with the airlift it established, lifted 106 planes carrying 3,014 tons of relief materials for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.

SAUDI ARABIA

Saudi Arabia reported that the 12th plane carrying aid to quake-hit regions has arrived in Turkey.

A charity bazaar was held in Qatar to benefit the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

PALESTINE

A new donation campaign was launched for the earthquake victims in Palestine, Turkey and Syria.

Hussein Shibli, Secretary General of the Jordanian Hashemite Relief Organization, stated that his country sent 12 planes, 21 trucks and 10 ambulances to the earthquake-affected areas in Turkey and Syria within a week, saying, “Jordan will continue to help the victims of the earthquake with all their means”.

Saying that Jordan rushed to help his brothers in Turkey and Syria from the first hours of the disaster with the direct instruction of King Abdullah II, Shibli said: “We sent 9 planes to Turkey in 7 days. The destinations of the planes were the airports of Adana and Kahramanmaraş and with these planes 5 field hospitals were transported, as well as paramedics and the necessary medical equipment.

YEMEN

10 trucks with relief material prepared in the framework of the campaign organized by the Yemenis in Turkey left Istanbul for the earthquake zone.

Vedi Ata, spokesperson for the Yemen Earthquake Victims Support Campaign, said more than 17 million lira (approximately $900,000) in donations were collected in the campaign, which was launched just after the earthquakes centered on Kahramanmaraş. .

He stated that 10 trucks loaded with relief materials prepared with the collected donations were on their way from Istanbul to the provinces in the earthquake zone in coordination with local governments, Ata stated that there were food, medicine and shelter materials in the trucks.

Nasser bin Hamed, speaking at the campaign organized on the Bahraini TV channel, called on all institutions, companies and individuals to contribute and participate in the campaign to alleviate the suffering of their brothers in Turkey and Syria.

It was announced that $3.7 million in donations were raised in the campaign, which started at 18:00 local time and lasted for 3 hours.

Speaking after the campaign, Nasser bin Hamed stated that the donations collected demonstrate the benevolence of the people of Bahrain and thanked everyone who participated.

LIBYA

During the celebrations held in Tripoli, the capital of Libya, on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the revolution, a call for help was made to the victims of the disaster in Turkey and Syria.

The High Committee for Libyan February 17 Revolution Celebrations announced that this year’s celebrations kicked off with an aid campaign to show solidarity with the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.

Thousands of Libyans took part in the celebrations held in the Martyrs’ Square in the capital Tripoli, where a symbolic military parade was held in memory of those who lost their lives.
