Noting that the campaign will continue for a month, Msri said that the gifts will be sent to Turkey and Syria in coordination with the Turkish Red Crescent.
Misri said the gift drive is part of the “One Body” campaign launched by the Emel Orphans Association to express the solidarity and feelings of the two peoples affected by the earthquake and the Palestinian people.
Stating that “this campaign is a kind of loyalty to the Turkish and Syrian people,” Misri said, “This is a good response for the Turkish people, who have always supported the Palestinians during the military attacks on Gaza.
