Addressing the Israeli government and people, Sisi said: “The time has come to spread a culture of peace, coexistence and integration among the peoples of the region. So let’s implement the Arab Peace Plan and put a veil over the suffering of both Israel and future generations of Palestinians.” he said.

Sisi also warned of the dire consequences of trying to impose a fait accompli that would negatively affect negotiations on the final status of East Jerusalem.

Jordanian King Abdullah II stressed that Israel’s violations must end for the realization of peace on the basis of the two-state solution.

Underlining that Masjid al-Aqsa is the first qibla for Muslims and that there will be no peace, stability and development in the region without progress in resolving the Palestinian issue, the King of Jordan said that attempts to change the legal and historical status of Jerusalem have negative repercussions on the stability of the region.

Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtan Lamamra, who attended the conference on behalf of Algerian President Abdulmecid Tebboune, called on the Palestinian groups to end the division among themselves and come together.
