Russian missile clears Moldovan airspace, but not Romanian Related articles

However, according to Hammelburg, the projectile was confirmed to have passed through Moldovan airspace. Moldova then formally protested and called the Russian ambassador to account.

But it’s not the start of the spring offensive, he thinks. “Today, Admiral Rob Bauer said that’s not the case, and I’d be inclined to believe him because he knows a lot about it.”

However, Hammelburg believes the definition of the offensive word should be looked at first. “When you look at the Russian side’s manpower buildup, you think it could be one big attack on all points at once,” Hammelburg said. “But it could also be limited to certain parts of Donbas, where they think they can break through more easily.”

However, the Luhansk governor thinks otherwise. He talks about the start of the spring offensive. But, Hammelburg points out, he also has a political interest in saying those words. “So if they both put it together, I’d believe Bauer,” he concludes.
