Bad news comes from Syria, which was destroyed in the Kahramanmaraş earthquake: the number of dead and injured increases
Search and rescue efforts have continued since February 6 in the provinces of Idlib, Aleppo, Hama, Latakia and Tartus, which were affected by the earthquakes in Syria.
According to SANA news, 1,347 people lost their lives and 2,295 people were injured in regime-controlled regions in Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Tartus provinces.
Many buildings were destroyed or damaged in opposition-controlled areas in northern Syria.
According to information collected by AA correspondents in the field from the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), Civil Defense (White Helmets), local authorities, health institutions and local sources, at least 1970 people were killed in Idlib, Shield of the Euphrates and Syria. Olive Branch regions of operations, and 2,000 people died. More than 950 people were injured.
Members of the Syrian National Army (SMO) are also involved in rescue efforts in areas under opposition control. The injured are being transferred to health centers.
