This has been exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic and the return of war to Europe. On the other hand, our best response is to work together for a better future by coming together.”

In her speech at the meeting, the Spanish Minister for Trade and Industry, María Reyes Maroto, highlighted that the credit limit that will encourage Spanish companies to invest in Morocco has reached 800 million euros, and that on Thursday the agreement on the loan that will encourage investment.

A DIPLOMATIC CRISIS Emerged in 2021

The crisis ended when the President of the Spanish Government, Sánchez, sent a letter to King Mohammed VI of Morocco on March 14, 2022 and declared that he found the autonomy plan proposed by Morocco to solve the problem of Western Sahara correct, and one month later, Sánchez, at the invitation of King Mohamed VI, who had visited Rabat.

Another of the crises between the two countries was the tragic event that provoked the reaction of the international community, in which 23 people died and numerous were injured on the Moroccan side, in the influx of irregular immigrants from the Moroccan border to the Spanish city of Melilla. in June 2022.
