Funeral for those killed in Ukraine helicopter crash
A funeral was held for Denis Monastirskiy, Ukraine’s Interior Minister and other officials, who lost their lives in a helicopter crash in Brovari, the capital of Ukraine, in the Kyiv region.
The funeral ceremony of Minister Monastirskiy and 7 Ministry officials who lost their lives in the accident was held at the “Ukrainian House” in kyiv. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy also attended the ceremony, which was held under extensive security.
Zelenskiy and his wife Olena Zelenska met with the families of those who lost their lives in the accident and expressed their condolences.
14 people, including Monastirskiy, died in the helicopter crash that took place on the morning of January 18. The investigation launched by the Security Service of Ukraine into the accident continues. (AA)
