Despite his isolated position in a maximum security prison, Navalni speaks out often. At the time, he immediately strongly condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24th.
Among other things, he is serving a nine-year prison sentence for misappropriating donations to his organizations that have been virtually dismantled. Navalni allegedly used the money for private spending and a campaign to become president. He was arrested in January 2021 at the Moscow airport.

Poisoning
