Norwegian artillery support to Ukraine

The Norwegian Ministry of Defense announced that it has sent 10,000 long-range modern artillery shells to Ukraine.

Norwegian Defense Minister Björn Arild Gram, speaking on Norwegian state television NRK, said Ukraine desperately needed defense and that is why they sent 10,000 long-range artillery shells into the country.

Sharing the information that they have sent 600,000 euros of military aid to Ukraine since the start of the Russian war, Gram said: “We cannot allow Russia to win the war in Ukraine. While supporting Ukraine with arms and equipment, Norway is acting on safe ground in accordance with international law.

Gram stated that the artillery shells they sent to Ukraine were able to hit targets 30,000 kilometers away and that the shells were used in M109 self-propelled howitzers. (AA)
