The reaction of a French journalist to the actions of the PKK in Paris

French journalist Jean-Michel Brun said that after the armed attack in Paris on December 23, anti-Turkey slogans were chanted during demonstrations in which supporters of the PKK terrorist organization burned down the city and that this was a problem.

Brun, the editor of the Musulmans en France news site, made an assessment of the use of violence by supporters of the PKK terror organization in the region after last week’s attack. French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin used the phrase “anti-Turkey slogans were shouted there and this poses a problem” for the violence that followed immediately after his visit to the region and his statement to the press.

Recalling that on December 24, a day after the attack, sympathizers of the PKK terrorist organization damaged some vehicles in Paris, burned others and threw various objects at the police, he stressed that this was not a show of support for the relatives of the deceased. and it was done for political purposes.

The French journalist said: “The French judiciary is also aware that the Ahmet Kaya Cultural Center, which has association status in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, has close ties to the PKK terrorist organization. The Supreme Court approved the dissolution of the aforementioned association in 2014” and drew attention to the fact that the association is still open even after 8 years. Expressing that he wondered how the authorities of this association were tolerated, Brun assessed that the policies followed by the French government were effective in this.

Jean-Michel Brun stated that the Kurdish associations, which are the terrorist organization PKK, are partially tolerated because they somehow serve the anti-Turkey policy of the French government, adding: “The policy against Turkey feeds Islamophobia. We may think that the Islamophobic atmosphere fostered by our government can mobilize mentally unstable people.”

Recalling that the 69-year-old suspect in the attack, the Frenchman, had previously attacked Sudanese refugees with a sword in the Bercy Park refugee camp in Paris and has just been released from prison, he noted that the December 23 attack was not not a “political” but a “racist” attack. (AA)
