G7 countries will continue to support Ukraine
In a statement made after the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the G7 countries, Belarus was called and asked not to allow Russia to use its territory.
In the statement, it was stated that if Belarus became more directly involved in the war opened by Russia, the cost would be great for the Belarusian administration.
It was emphasized that the G7 countries once again pledged to increase their efforts to meet Ukraine’s urgent need for military and defense equipment, especially air defense, in order to save more lives.
Welcoming the efforts of Ukrainian President Volodomir Zelenskiy to promote a just and lasting peace, the G7 members called on Russia to cease its attacks and withdraw its forces fully and unconditionally from all Ukrainian territories.
Reacting to the Taliban administration’s decision to suspend university education for female students in Afghanistan, the G7 Foreign Ministers strongly condemned the harsh restrictions on women and girls in this country to enjoy their human rights and fundamental freedoms. (AA)
