Strong Kremlin response to Zelensky’s 3-step peace plan
As the war between Russia and Ukraine continued, the 3-step peace plan presented by Ukraine’s leader Zelenskiy during his meeting with the G7 countries further increased the tension…
Zelenskiy, calling on the G7 countries to implement the three-step peace plan, listed them as follows; new military support, providing energy support and conducting a new diplomacy.
But Zelenskiy’s call received a harsh response from the Kremlin. The Kremlin made a statement on Zelenskiy’s suggestion, saying: “This 3-step plan is a plan for the continuation of hostilities.”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a statement: “Ukraine must accept certain facts in order to achieve peace for both parties.” Peskov also stated that if “these facts” are not taken into account, no progress will be achieved.
