Police raid on environmental group in Germany
In Germany, police reportedly raided the homes of members of the environmental group Letzte Generation.
In a statement on Twitter from the “Ultima Generación” group, it was reported that police raided some houses in the morning on charges of “establishing a criminal organization”, seizing laptops, mobile phones and other similar electronic devices. In the statement, the German government’s climate policy was once again criticized.
The activist group “The Last Generation” has been demonstrating almost every day for the last year. In addition to blocking traffic on the streets by sticking to the roads, activists hold demonstrations at museums, stadiums, government offices and airports.
However, these actions provoke the reaction of the government with the argument that they disturb the social order. (AA)
