NATO chief warns of full-fledged war with Russia

The Czech Republic’s parliament displaces refugees because of winter sports

Since spring, around twenty refugees have been housed in the building complex north-east of Prague. However, they now have to move because several lawmakers want to use the facility near the border with Poland itself for winter holidays.
Alternative accommodation has now been found for the refugees in the city, a spokesman for the Liberec administrative region told the DPA news agency on Friday. In addition to the opposition, Prime Minister Petr Fiala also criticized the behavior of the MPs. The Ukrainians “should have stayed there, this shouldn’t have happened,” the liberal-conservative politician told CNN Prima News.
Nearly 467,000 Ukrainians have received temporary protection in the Czech Republic since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in late February, according to data from the Interior Ministry in Prague.
