The Ferrari driver from Monaco, Charles Leclerc, will start from pole position in the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which will be held as the 22nd stage of the Formula 1 World Championship.

In the 50-lap race, which will be held on the 6.2 kilometer long Las Vegas Strip Track in the US state of Nevada, after the qualifying rounds, Leclerc took first place with the fastest lap with a time of 1 minute and 32.726 seconds.

Leclerc’s teammate, the Spanish Carlos Sainz, was second with his lap of 1 minute 32.770 seconds, while Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, world champion in the drivers’ classification, was third with 1 minute 33.104 seconds, and the British Mercedes driver George Russell. in third place with 1 minute 33.112 seconds and fourth classified.


Sainz, who changed the power unit of his vehicle after training, will start the race from 12th position, receiving a penalty of 10 places on the grid. This will move Verstappen to second position and Russell to third starting position.

The countdown has begun for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which will take place tomorrow at 09:00 Turkish time.
