5-game suspension for Draymond Green in the NBA
After the fight that took place in the game between the American Basketball League (NBA), Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves, it was announced that Golden State Warriors forward, Draymond Green, received a 5-game suspension.
The NBA statement included the following statements: “Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was suspended for five games for escalating an argument on the court and forcibly grabbing Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert for the neck in an unsportsmanlike and dangerous manner.”
Other players involved in this incident include Warriors guard Klay Thompson, Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels and center Rudy Gobert. These three players were each fined twenty-five thousand dollars for the incident.
