They threw popcorn at Neymar from the stands!
Neymar went crazy after being hit on the head by a packet of popcorn thrown by an angry fan after Brazil’s World Cup qualifier against Venezuela.
Brazil were on course to make it three wins from three on their way to the 2026 tournament in North America, but had to settle for just one point after Eduard Bello’s magnificent header.
With this result, Brazil fell behind arch-rival Argentina in first place, and whistles and boos were heard as the players left the field after the match at the Arena Pantanal in Cuiabá. Al-Hilal forward Neymar was hit by a box of popcorn thrown by a fan.
Neymar was about to enter the tunnel, but stopped and looked towards the stands to find the culprit.
While his teammates were trying to take him to the locker room, Neymar returned from the tunnel and argued with a fan in the stands.
DİZ REACTION
Brazil coach Fernando Diniz condemned the “disrespectful” incident in which Neymar was hit in the head by a bag of popcorn thrown from the stands after his team’s 1-1 home draw with Venezuela.
Diniz said of the incident in his post-match interview: “It’s good to say bad words and boo. Throwing away a bag of popcorn doesn’t do anyone any good. “It’s a lack of respect towards those who come to play and try to do their best.” saying.

Diniz was also disappointed that Brazil could not win the match, as Argentina surpassed them in the standings with this result.
Argentina beat Paraguay 1-0 on Thursday to move two points ahead of Brazil after three games in the qualifiers.
