The group stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League starts with a single match
The group stage of the UEFA European Conference League, the third major organization of European football at club level, will begin tomorrow with a one-off match between Lille and Olimpija Ljubljana.
In addition to Turkish teams Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş competing in the tournament, the remaining matches of the first week will be played on Thursday, September 21.
In the first match of Group H, the dark yellow-blue team will host the Danish team Nordsjaelland at 7:45 p.m. The black and white will face Club Brugge of Belgium in Group D at 22:00 GMT.
GROUP LEADERS WILL CONTRIBUTE DIRECTLY TO THE NEXT ROUND
In the tournament where 32 teams will compete in 8 groups, the group leaders will advance directly to the last 16 rounds. The group runners-up will play play-off matches with the teams that finished their groups in third place in the UEFA Europa League. The parties that pass the matches will have their names written in the next round.
The final of the tournament will be played on May 29, 2024 at the Hagia Sophia stadium in Athens, capital of Greece.
