Cristiano Ronaldo shouts ‘wake up’ to the referee after Al-Nassr win
Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his anger at the referees during Al-Nassr’s 4-2 win over Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai, with the Portuguese superstar seen yelling at the referee to “wake up”.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner missed the mark, but set up Marcelo Brozovic for his team’s fourth goal as his side trailed again 2-1 and took their place in the Champions League group stage from Asia.
During the match, Ronaldo made a disgruntled appearance while arguing with the referees after several penalty appeals went unsuccessful. He was later seen yelling at the referee and yelling “wake up”, waving his arms before strutting away.

Later, in a separate video, he was seen pushing a man who was trying to take a selfie with the soccer star off the pitch. He, too, was seen kicking a water bottle and was caught on video throwing water at a cameraman.
Ronaldo’s team made a disappointing start to the Saudi Pro League season, losing to Al-Ettifaq and Al-Taawon in two of their opening matches.

Having won the Champions League five times, Ronaldo scored 20 goals in 27 appearances in all lanes for the Saudi team he joined in January last year, and his life in the Middle East was off to a rocky start for him.
HE ALLEGED THAT HE WANTED TO GET OUT
His team came close to winning the Saudi Pro League last season and their rivals Al-ittihad beat them to the title. Ronaldo was deeply saddened by the end of his first trophyless season, and shortly before that, allegations were made that he wanted to leave the club less than a year after his transfer.
