Al Hilal signs Aleksandar Mitrovic for record price
Saudi Arabian team Al Hilal added Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic from England’s Fulham team to their squad.
Al Hilal Club announced the transfer of Mitrovic with a post on the social media platform X.
In the British press, it was claimed that the transfer was made with a transfer fee of £50 million and Mitrovic signed a 3-year deal. Although the Fulham club did not disclose the transfer number, the club announced that the transfer record was broken.
The 28-year-old footballer, who played for Partizan, Anderlecht and Newcastle United, was transferred to Fulham in 2018. In his Fulham career, Mitrovic scored 111 goals in 206 appearances.
Al Hilal, managed by Jorge Jesus, previously transferred big names such as Bono, Ruben Neves, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Neymar and Malcom. (AA)
