MANU announces new goalkeeper

Manchester United sign André Onana

Manchester United, one of the English Premier League teams, transferred Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter.

Manchester United found a name to guard their goal after David de Gea, who played for 12 seasons, left the club.

According to the club’s statement, a 5+1-year contract was signed with the 27-year-old Onana.

No information on the cost of the transfer was provided, but the British press suggested that Onana’s testimonial fee could reach 55 million euros with additional payments.

Onana, who won 3 league titles at Ajax and played in the 2017 UEFA Europa League final, played an important role in Inter’s victory in the summer of 2022, winning the Italian Cup and reaching the UEFA Champions League final. (AA)
