According to Taiwan News, the Ministry of Defense announced that 10 military aircraft and 7 military sea vehicles belonging to the People’s Liberation Army of China (PRC) entered the area that Taiwan declared an “Air Defense Identification Area” (ADIZ) within 24 hours from 06:00 local time on July 19.

DETECTED AROUND THE ISLAND

In addition to these, the ministry reported that 22 more Chinese aircraft and 7 ships were detected around Taiwan as of 07:00 local time.

It was determined that 13 of the 22 aircraft in question entered the Taiwan Strait border or Taiwan’s “Air Defense Identification Area” (ADIZ).

PREPARED AGAINST THE ATTACK

The Ministry reported that they monitor the activities of military vehicles with the intelligence, observation and reconnaissance (ISR) system, and their own defense and patrol vehicles have been stationed in the field.

China was reported to have dispatched a total of 306 military aircraft and 132 ships around Taiwan in July.

THE EXERCISE HAS BEEN DONE

Taiwan plans to hold the “Han Kuang” exercise, which it conducts every year in preparation for possible invasion attempts, from July 24 to 28 this year.
