Kasper Asgreen wins stage 18 of the 110th Tour de France
Kasper Asgreen, the Danish athlete from the Soudal Quick-Step team, won the 18th stage of the 110th Tour de France.
The organization’s 18th stage, considered the most prestigious road bike race, was held on the 184.9-kilometre route between Moutiers and Bourg en Bresse.
In the escape group, Asgreen finished first with a time of 4 hours 6 minutes 48 seconds, ahead of Pascal Eenkhoorn (Lotto Dstny team) and Jonas Abrahamsen (Uno-X).

In search of his second consecutive championship, Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) maintained the 7 minutes and 35 seconds difference with his closest follower in the general classification, Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates), champion of 2020 and 2021.
The route will continue tomorrow with the 172.8km 19th stage between Moirans-en-Montagne and Poligny.
The Tour de France will conclude on Sunday July 23 with stage 21 in the capital, Paris.
