Haaland’s father mocks fans

Erling Haaland’s father took the madridistas out of the stands

Erling Haaland’s father, Alf-Inge, was taken from his box for arguing with Real Madrid fans during the Champions League semi-final match between Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Alf-Inge took his place at the Santiago Bernabéu to witness Manchester City’s 1-1 draw against Real Madrid. In the images shared on social networks, it can be seen that the Norwegian reacted to the Real Madrid fans and the host fans said goodbye to the 50-year-old man chanting “Goodbye”.

Haaland’s father was later seen smiling and waving to the fans below him. The former midfielder closed his ears to the Real Madrid fans as the chants continued towards him. The images also reflected that the security team intervened to remove Alf-Inge from where he was.

Spanish journalist Iñaki Angulo reported that Alf-Inge insulted Real Madrid fans during the match and also allegedly threw food before being removed from the stands.

HAALAND FAILS TO GO TO GOAL

Erling Haaland failed to add to his 51 goals in his great season against Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old was defended impressively by fellow Real Madrid central defenders Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba in the first leg of the semi-finals. Kevin De Bruyne’s second-half goal came in response to Vinicius Jnr’s opener, leaving Manchester City level 1-1.

Pep Guardiola’s team will try to beat the Spanish giant at the Etihad next week.
