Violence erupts at Napoli’s post-championship celebration
After Udinese’s match against Napoli, which won the Italian Serie A championship, unwanted images were produced on the pitch.
SSC Napoli, who drew 1-1 with Udinese Calcio on Thursday night, declared the Serie A championship 33 years later. While thousands of fans were celebrating peacefully, some hooligans completely lost control.

The following scenes are chaotic and wild. Male fans attacked each other with belts. Violence was also applied to people who were lying on the ground without stopping. The police desperately faced the outbreak of violence and were unable to control the situation.
Authorities announced that only eight people were injured during this melee.
In Naples, 60,000 fans watched the match on the big screen at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. A celebration was held in the city center after the match. However, a peaceful environment could not be achieved here either.
