Chelsea sent Graham Potter
Chelsea, an English Premier League club, has fired manager Graham Potter.
At Chelsea, which has spent more than £550m on transfers since the consortium led by American Todd Boehly bought the club last summer, Potter’s tenure, replaced by Thomas Tuchel, lasted 7 months.
In the statement made by the club, the 47-year-old coach was thanked for his effort and contribution. It was reported that Bruno Saltor will lead the team on a temporary basis.
Potter had coached Östersund, Swansea City and Brighton before Chelsea.
After losing 2-0 to Aston Villa on matchday 29 of the Premier League, 34 points from the top, 11th-placed Chelsea will face Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. (AA)
