Leipzig returned without points
In the First German Football League (Bundesliga), Leipzig lost 1-0 to Bochum as a visitor.
The first half of the match in which Leipzig faced Bochum at the Vonovia Ruhr Stadium on matchday 25 of the Bundesliga ended in a goalless draw. Starting the second half fast, Bochum took the 1-0 lead with a goal from Erhan Masovic in the 48th minute. Bochum won the game 1-0 as there was no other goal in the remaining part of the game played.
Leipzig took 3rd place with 45 points and more from the game. Struggling to stay in the league, Bochum increased their score to 25 and kept their 14th place.
In other Bundesliga matches played today, Hertha Berlin was defeated 3-1 at Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg beat Stuttgart 1-0 as a visitor, while the Augsburg-Schalke match ended tied 1-1. (AA)
