The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Boston Celtics 131-125 in overtime in the most important game of the Eastern Conference of the American Basketball League (NBA).
In the battle between the leaders of the Eastern Conference, the Celtics, and the Bucks, in second place, the winners were the local Bucks. While the Bucks reached their 40th win in their 57th game, the Celtics suffered their 17th loss in their 58th game.
Jrue Holiday had 40 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and Giannis Antetokounmpo had 36 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists for the Bucks, who posted their 11th straight win.
Derrick White had 27 points, 12 assists, 3 steals, and Malcolm Brogdon had 26 points.
SUNS DEFEAT KINGS
The Phoenix Suns defeated the Sacramento Kings 120-109 at home in a game between the ambitious teams from the Western Conference.
Devin Booker had 32 points, 5 rebounds, Deandre Ayton 29 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals, and Chris Paul 17 points, 19 assists, and 5 rebounds for the Suns.
On the Kings front, De’Aaron Fox’s 35 points and Domantas Sabonis’ 24 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists were not enough to win.
