Crazy offer from El Nassr Club to Cristiano Ronaldo
Spanish sports daily Marca claimed that Saudi Arabian Club El Nassr offered Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo a staggering contract and that they were very close to a deal.
Ronaldo, 37, whose contract with England’s Manchester United Club was terminated, is said to continue his professional career in Saudi Arabia.
The Spanish newspaper wrote that El Nassr Club came very close to reaching an agreement with Ronaldo, who offered him a 2.5-year contract worth €200 million a year. In the news it was assured that the 200 million euros per year that will be given to Ronaldo include salary and advertising agreements. It was claimed that Al Nassr’s biggest rival in the Saudi Arabian league, of which French coach Rudi Garcia is the manager, is the last champion Al Hilal.
The Spanish newspaper, which wrote that Saudi football has started to develop in recent years, noted that Ronaldo can attract media attention and that no club in Europe can come close to El Nassr’s offer.
