CNN revamps its schedule with new shows for Abby Phillip, Chris Wallace and Christiane Amanpour

After a year of executive suite turmoil and declining ratings, CNN is reviewing its programming lineup.

will move several veteran names, including Chris Wallace, Christiane Amanpour and Kasie Hunt, to anchor roles.

Political Correspondent Abby Phillip will provide an overnight program from New York at 10 p.m. Eastern Time. Phillip hosted the Sunday program “Inside Politics,” which will be taken over by Capitol Hill correspondent Manu Raju.

The changes come after a year

CNN saw a significant drop in viewership under previous CEO Chris Licht, whose priority was to position the network more politically down-the-middle to attract more conservative viewers. At the same time, light had to cut back

Primetime ratings were already falling when Light arrived shortly after CNN in 2022
