Second hospital tender in Gaziantep for the AKP company
TETİŞ Yapı İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, owned by AKP Elazığ provincial board member Mustafa Tetik, who won the tender for the construction of a hospital in Gaziantep last June, also negotiated the tender for the Oğuzeli Emergency Hospital , whose completion is scheduled. for 500 million TL.
The tender for the Oğuzeli Emergency Hospital, organized by the General Directorate of Health Investments of the Ministry of Health on September 19, 2023, was carried out through negotiation. TETİŞ Yapı İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, owned by AKP Elazığ board member Mustafa Tetik, who promised to complete the tender in which 3 companies participated for 500 million TL, won. The tender contract was signed on September 29, 2023.
PUBLIC DAMAGE OF 605 MILLION TL DUE TO DELAY
TETİŞ Yapı İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, which received bids worth billions of liras from many public institutions and organizations, especially the Ministry of Health, was awarded a tender worth 162 million 800 thousand TL in Gaziantep last June, which was left unfinished due to the contractor who abandoned the work, who had won the tender for the complementary works of the 300-bed State Hospital on December 25 for 768 million 368 thousand TL, 605 million 568 thousand TL more than in the first tender.
“I’M NOT SURPRISED THAT HE GAVE IT AGAIN TO THE AKP COMPANY”
The fact that only a low deduction of 5 million 531 thousand TL was made in this tender was criticized by former CHP council member of Şahinbey Municipality, Uğur Kalkan, while drawing attention to the public damage caused by the construction that was not carried out on time, said the following:
“We see to what extent this delay has become a cost, since the work to be carried out for 162 million TL in 2021 will increase to 768 million TL in 2023. The offer presented by the company winning the competition was very close to the cost approximate. “It seems significant to me that while there was a difference of 40 million between the price received by the company that won the first tender with 162 million TL and the approximate cost, in the second tender it was only 5.5 million and 99 .3 percent of the approximate cost. the cost was offered.”
Kalkan said he was not surprised that the construction of the Oğuzeli emergency hospital was handed over to an AKP company through negotiation.
