Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated that the date of payment of 5,000 lira to non-working retirees will not exceed November 15.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his statement after the Cabinet meeting, announced that the retirement bonus will be granted only to retirees. Erdoğan said that retirees who continue to work will not benefit from this request.
Erdoğan said: “We exclude from this regulation our retirees who have retired but continue to work actively. These payments will be deposited into the accounts of our retirees starting in the first half of November. At the beginning of the year we will review the situation of our retirees and make all possible sacrifices. “I hope this decision will be beneficial.” saying.
WILL THOSE WHO RECEIVE A WIDOW’S AND ORPHAN’S PENSION RECEIVE A RETIREMENT BONUS?
Those who are widowed and have no children are expected to benefit from the bonus at the rate of 75 percent, those who are widowed and have children at the rate of 50 percent, and orphans at the rate of 25 percent.
Accordingly, it is stated that payments for citizens with children and widows will be 2,500 TL, and the payment for orphans will remain at 1,250 TL.
