Sharp decline in home sales in September
The number of home sale transactions in Turkey last month decreased by approximately 16 percent compared to the previous month.
According to the information received from officials of the General Directorate of Property Registry and Cadastre of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, in September 280,058 property purchase and sale transactions were carried out throughout the country.
Real estate sales in September decreased approximately 10 percent compared to August, when 312,339 real estate sales were made.
From these sales transactions, income from title fees of 4 thousand 808 million 937 thousand 276 liras was obtained.
HOUSE SALES DECREASE BY 16 PERCENT
Of the 280,058 real estate sales in September, 100,839 were residences, 49,418 land, 95,513 fields, 11,041 workplaces and the rest other real estate.
Sales of homes within these real estate properties increased approximately 16 percent compared to last month’s 119,547 sales, land sales increased approximately 11 percent compared to last month’s 55,570 sales, sales Field sales increased by 5 percent compared to last month’s 101,104 sales, and workplace sales increased by 11,000 sales last month, showing a decrease of 6 percent compared to 758 sales.
MORE PROPERTIES WERE SOLD IN ISTANBUL
In September, the largest number of real estate sales were made in Istanbul with 26,627.
Istanbul is followed by Ankara with 16,059 sales, Izmir with 12,054, Konya with 10,200, Bursa with 9,898, Antalya with 8,772, Tekirdağ with 7,803, Balıkesir with 7,103. They followed by Gaziantep with 7 thousand 92 and Kocaeli with 6 thousand 83. (BRITISH AUTOMOBILE CLUB)
