The price of a barrel of Russian oil from the Urals exceeded $80
The average price of a barrel of Russian oil from the Urals continued to be quoted at $83 in September, above the maximum price of $60 imposed by the G7 countries.
A statement from the Russian Ministry of Finance states that the average price of a barrel of Brent oil during the monitoring period in September was $93.9.
The statement states that during the mentioned period a barrel of Ural oil was sold at an average price of $83.
IT EXCEEDED THE PRICE CEILING OF THE G7 COUNTRIES
Thus, Ural oil continued to trade above the maximum price of $60 per barrel that the G7 countries implemented for Russian oil in December 2022.
In its August 1 statement, the Russian Finance Ministry reported that the average price of a barrel of Ural oil traded at $64.37 in July, surpassing the maximum price of $60 imposed by the G7. (AA)
