Confusion of the official’s actual service

official The gospel of the current ministry became torment. While miscalculations occurred due to the complex structure, many officials were reported to have retired without receiving a raise. The General Health and Labor Union asked the Social Security Institution to correct the current regulation of the increase in the period of service to avoid the loss of rights. The request petition listed the problems in the system and requested a solution from the institution.

AFFECTS THE RETIREMENT PENSION

President of the General Health-Labor Union Dr. Derya UÄŸur stated that the law regulating the retirement age of public officials caused serious problems due to a sudden change. Stating that the increase in the actual service period is applied within the scope of “human health-related jobs”, UÄŸur said that although an increase in the actual service period of 60 days is defined for officials who work 360 days, In practice the period decreases to 33.6 days due to the exclusion of weekends, holidays and annual vacations, he said that a health professional can only retire 2.8 years in advance. Stating that the system also causes difficulties in calculating pensions and retirement bonuses, UÄŸur stated that the regulation has problems such as not covering all health professionals, not operating retroactively, not automatically applying to those who do not apply, and cause confusion regarding the workplace and the job within scope.

Even 1 day makes a difference

Minister Derya UÄŸur said that many officials could not benefit from the actual increase in service due to the difficulty of the system. UÄŸur stated that even one day causes serious differences in the calculation of monthly salaries and bonuses, and that if the problems are not resolved, SSI may face huge litigation expenses and public officials may face financial losses.
