Chinese woman quits scam: worked 16 jobs at the same time but never went to work
It turned out that a Chinese woman worked 16 jobs for 3 years and never went to work.
According to Chinese media reports, the woman who goes by the pseudonym Guan Yue never went to work, although she worked in 16 different corporate positions over three years.
It turned out that the woman, who turned out to be a fraud, turned the job over to a friend and received a commission when she received more job offers than she could handle. It was determined that 53 people were involved in the fraud scheme worth 7 million dollars.
THE HOSPITAL IS ALSO IN THE PLAN
It was claimed that Guan’s husband was among the fraud schemes and that the couple bought an apartment in Shanghai with the money they obtained.
The incident was resolved in January after the CEO of a technology company saw that one of his employees had overlooked the fact that he was simultaneously working for another company.
Initially, the company hired an impressive eight-person sales team, but fired them after making no progress after a three-month trial period. The case came to the attention of the police when the leader of the group, known as Yang Hong, posted a photo on an official business channel showing him working elsewhere.
After the discovery of the fraud, 53 people were arrested.
This type of labor fraud is a big problem in China, where an estimated 700 to 800 groups routinely take multiple jobs from employers, China’s state-run Xinmin newspaper said.
The newspaper says that scammers are adept at flaunting flawless, if fake, resumes when hiring.
