The İPA cost of living survey in Istanbul has been published. According to the investigation; The cost of living in Istanbul increased by 80.59 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. The average cost of living for a family of four in Istanbul is estimated at 42,593 lira.
INCREASE OF 80.59 PERCENT
The cost of living in Istanbul increased 9.69 percent compared to the previous month and 54.34 percent compared to December of the previous year. Compared to August of the previous year, the annual (last 12 months) rate of increase in the cost of living in Istanbul was 80.59 percent.
THE INCREASE IN THE MONTHLY COST RESERVED TO 4 THOUSAND LIRA
In August, the average cost of living for a family of four in Istanbul was estimated at 42,593 lira. The average cost of living in Istanbul was 38,828 lira in July.
The average cost of living in Istanbul increased by 3,765 lira compared to last month.
THE PRICE OF OLIVE OIL INCREASES BY 144.37 PERCENT
Taking into account the price increases of some products frequently used in households compared to August of the previous year, it was observed that one of the most striking price increases was experienced in olive oil prices with an increase rate of 144.37%.
After olive oil, the biggest price increase occurred in cleaning products. The increase in cleaning products was 108.01 percent annually.
