The unions, which did not accept the raise offers from the Public Employers Committee, which represented the government, began on August 14 and 17 to wait for a new raise proposal, including social participation, hours before the finalization phase. negotiation.

Although the Committee of Public Employers was expected to offer a new increase during the day, all eyes were on Memur-Sen’s attitude before this possible offer.

If a compromise cannot be reached between the parties by the end of the day, the Public Officials Arbitration Board process will begin in negotiations. The 11-member board, made up of members of the senior judiciary, bureaucrats, unionists and academics, will make its final decision on the collective agreement before August 31.
