The Ministry of Commerce announced that an administrative fine of TL 51,920,782 was imposed in accordance with the regulation of 6 months and 6 thousand kilometers of the regulation on the trade of second-hand motor land vehicles.
In the statement made by the Ministry, it was indicated that the cancellation of the second-hand authorization certificate of those who acted to hinder the arrival of new vehicles was regulated:
“Within the scope of this regulation, administrative fines totaling 66 million 879 thousand TL were imposed on 14 authorized dealers and the authorization certificates of nine of these dealers were cancelled.”
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat said the following in his assessment on the issue:
“Our ministerial units will continue to work with sensitivity and determination in the face of market distorting activities in the automotive sector in the purchase and sale of new and used vehicles, as well as unfair pricing and storage actions.” (DHA)
