Earthquake victims were given extra time for damage assessment
The commissions assigned to determine the damages of agricultural producers in some provinces damaged by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş were given an additional 3 months.
The Presidential Decision on the subject was published in the Official Gazette.
Loan debts of agricultural producers in some provinces damaged by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, within the scope of decisions on the use of low-interest loans by Ziraat Bank and Agricultural Credit Cooperatives (Agricultural Credit), were postponed for 1 year with the Presidential Decision published on February 22.
EXTENDED FROM 3 MONTHS TO 6 MONTHS
With that decision, damage assessment commissions were established in provinces and districts for damage assessment, and representatives of relevant public institutions and agricultural chambers were assigned to the commissions.
With the decision, the period for the preparation of the damage assessment commission’s decisions within a maximum period of 3 months has been changed to 6 months.
