EMRA postpones advance payments in earthquake zone
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), the legal persons holding distribution licenses that operate in cities where the decision of a state of emergency has been made or a disaster area has been declared, the assigned supply companies, the deferral of advance payments of supplying companies in which the Organized Industrial Zones (OIZ) is a direct or indirect partner, and decided not to apply late payment interest to the operator and market participant during the period.
The decision of the EMRA board on the subject was published in the Official Gazette.

Thus, until September 30, for legal persons holding distribution licenses that operate in cities declared in a state of emergency or declared disaster zones, assigned marketing companies and marketing companies in which the OIZs are direct or indirect partners, 132 of the Electricity Market Equilibrium and Liquidation Regulations.- It has been decided that the amounts included in the advance notices referred to in the first paragraph of article /Ç will be postponed until the expiration of the invoice of the corresponding billing period, without charge default interest to the market. operator or market participant during the period during which advance payments are postponed.
The deferral request will be valid from July 1 to September 30 and no late payment interest will be applied to the market operator and market participant during the period in which the advances are deferred. (AA)
