Within the scope of the regulation on public loan restructuring, loan restructuring in the amount of TL 265.4 billion has been carried out so far.

According to the information obtained from the Tax Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the last period has been entered to benefit from the Law for the Restructuring of Certain Credits, which restructures the accounts receivable of many institutions, especially debts payable. to tax offices and addresses of social security.

The application period to benefit from the restructuring agreement expired on May 31 and the payment period for the first installment would end on June 30. By Decision of the President, said deadlines were extended by one month.

Consequently, the application period will end on July 3 (since June 30 coincides with the Eid al-Adha holiday), and the payment period for the first installment will end on July 31.

Within the scope of the law, 4 million 524 thousand 66 taxpayers applied to the tax offices of the Ministry of Finance and Finance, and 6 million 639 thousand 482 configuration files were created in this context.

In the field of law, to date 265 thousand 379 million 176 thousand liras of accounts receivable have been restructured, while 20 thousand 725 million 946 thousand 126 liras have been collected.

The officials of the Presidency called on those who want to benefit from the provisions of the law to apply until July 3. According to the law, there is no possibility of extending the term.

On the other hand, debts structured in accordance with the law can be paid in cash or in installments.

The law provided for a system of installment payment different from that of previous laws and the principle of installment payment in monthly periods was introduced.

Although the term of payment of only the first installment is extended with the President’s Decision, those who prefer to pay in installments must pay the first and second installments together in July. (AA)
