According to the Turkish Statistical Institute data for the first quarter of 2023, the population aged 15-24 in Turkey has reached 11 million 865 thousand.
2 million 657 thousand of these people are not in education or in the labor market.

MORE THAN 1 MILLION YOUNG PEOPLE UNEMPLOYED
According to TURKSTAT Q1 2023 data, 5,250,000 out of 11,865,000 young people living in Turkey are in the labor market and 4,195,000 of them are working and 1,555,000 are unemployed. The number of those not included in the workforce is 6 million 616 thousand.
The youth unemployment rate is 20.1 percent.

When the 2 million 657 thousand young people who do not go to school and are not in the labor market, and 1 million 55 thousand young people who are unemployed, it is seen that 3 million 712 young people are not working by the end of 2022.
