Change in the regulation of natural gas market rates
The “Regulation on the Modification of the Regulation of Tariffs of the Natural Gas Market” was published by the Regulatory Authority of the Energy Market (EMRA).
The decision of the EMRA Board of Directors on the subject came into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
Consequently, the transmission and shipment control tariffs will be applied without discrimination between equal beneficiaries of the transmission network for the transportation of produced and imported natural gas, and the transmission price defined in the scope of the NOP (regulation of operation of the network) and the tariffs related to the control of shipments of natural gas produced, imported and exported and the tariffs, terms and conditions for their implementation will be applied.
In addition, with the modification made, the Authority will have the power to determine the rates for transmission in transit and the rates for transmission related to exports in accordance with procedures and principles different from those for domestic transmission rates, taking the opinion of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
