President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that they have halved the SCT, which is 55 percent, on the sale of rolled tobacco for cooperatives in the provinces where a state of emergency was declared due to the earthquake.
President Erdoğan, who visited earthquake-hit Adıyaman together with MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, gave information on tobacco tax regulation in his speech.

“We were already conducting a general study to differentiate the SCT we get from roll-cut tobacco based on the type of tobacco,” Erdogan said.
“We are halving the SCT rate of 55 percent on cut tobacco sales,” Erdogan said. Our producers will have the opportunity to market their products in a more advantageous way than the companies. The regulation will be implemented in a few days,” he said.

Erdoğan also stated that the number of residences in the earthquake zone, which reached the construction stage, reached 309,000, and the number of residences whose construction reached 14,500, announced that 75,681 village houses will be built. throughout the earthquake zone.
